Adolescent Day Counselor

• Develop and facilitate therapeutic and psycho-educational groups for clients. 
• Maintain consistent communication with families.
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure a safe and therapeutic program structure and strive for identified standards of behavior and to provide a positive role model for youth.
• Responsible for keeping in compliance with program and agency policies, standards and protocols.
• Show yourself to be a willing learner in trainings and maintain necessary certifications.
• Support skill building for all youth through collaborative team work.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree Preferred, minimum of one year experience working in adolescent services or related internship.

We will train you in: Motivational Interviewing; Courageous Conversations; Trauma Informed Practice, Attachment, Regulation and Competency Model (ARC), Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, CPR and First Aid.
