Job Summary

This is a performance-based sales role that retains and increases revenue of current customers through renewals, upselling and cross-selling to maintain MPS’s existing relationships, so that they will continue or start using MPS products.

Job Duties

  • Serve as primary commercial functional lead to drive strategy execution for assigned sales region as defined by Regional Sales Manager (RSM)
  • Coordinate customer quotes & manage commercial contracts/ agreements
  • Leverage full CRM capability of Salesforce to track & maintain visibility to total opportunity pipeline, sales campaign initiatives, quality concerns, end user product approvals, touchpoints & reason codes, response times, etc...
  • Gather business intelligence from end users & channel partners to support strategic initiatives as required
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of identified customer accounts and build targeted key account strategies in conjunction with RSM to grow MPS market share
  • Provide feedback on market pricing & surveillance to MPS Pricing team for use during quoting/ agreement renewals process
  • Work with MPS sales rep agencies as primary liaison for campaign initiatives & tracking
  • Communicate/ present strategic sales initiatives to internal MPS stakeholders
  • Ensure reliable & responsive service to both internal & external customers
  • Use computerized systems for pricing/ ordering/ tracking & reporting, troubleshooting, etc...
  • Manage regional leads including outbound calls to long tail accounts in assigned region
  • Provide Salesforce support for RSM’s & 3rd party sales Reps
  • Monthly ad hoc reporting for RSM’s & Reps
  • Proactively reach out to accounts to maintain and grow key relationships.
  • Generate more revenue through opportunities – upselling, cross-selling.
  • Review quoting opportunities above threshold.
  • Filling out customer forms as needed
  • Maintaining Customer Blanket Master sheets
  • Understanding and managing any commercial or term deviation approvals
  • JD Edwards read proficiency.
  • CRM maintenance and entry proficiency.
  • Proactively seek out ways to better serve customers.
  • Work with customer service, sales, marketing, and customers during commercialization of new product launches.
  • Work closely with production and distribution teams giving direction and prioritization to meet customer’s requirements.
  • Organize and run Internal/External sales calls.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education

  • Ability to work within diverse teams and drive sales effectiveness.
  • Strong capability in designing and implementing sales processes aligned to the strategic goals of the business.
  • Experience prioritizing tasks & managing collaboration between multiple forces.
  • Ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations.
  • Strong organizational skills with superior follow-through; ability to summarize status at executive level.
  • Experience in Power BI and/or JDE Reports Now
  • SalesForce experience a plus
  • Typically require a bachelor's degree and 2 to 4 years of experience
