Marketing Associate
SUMMARY
Responsible for implementing, coordinating, and tracking marketing strategies and schedules to promote continued growth and profitability while increasing member participation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate and implement marketing efforts via direct mail solicitations, email communications, and social media.
• Coordinate mailing of advertising material to client offices and convention sites.
• Assist with inventory management of marketing material.
• Build and maintain cross-sell and upsell functionality across several product lines.
• Build and maintain positive, productive, and professional ongoing relationships with the client, insurance carriers, and all other internal and external partners.
• Provide ongoing tracking of marketing campaigns and results.
• Review, maintain, and revise marketing material to ensure the accuracy of content, including text, rates, benefit descriptions, and legal compliance.
• Participate in meetings, projects, and business planning.
• Provide results and input and perform special projects in support of and as assigned by management.
• Perform essential website maintenance
• Participate in periodic calls with clients, carriers, business associates, and material fulfillment vendors.
• Set up a booth, promote our brand, and solicit new business at various conventions throughout the year.
• Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information)
• Other duties as assigned.
• Performs all duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures, and all federal, state and local laws, wherein the Company operates.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Two (2) or more years of related work experience in insurance, marketing, healthcare administration, or a related field
Valid insurance license or requirement to obtain within 90 days of employment
Sales and/or communications experience
SKILLS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
Effective presentation, planning, organizational, and analytical skills
Ability and motivation to work independently
Ability to interface with executives – internal and external
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
