POSITION SUMMARY:
- The Associate Service Technician reports to the Senior Service Manager
- Located in Houston, TX
- Full-Time
- Remote
As an Associate Service Technician, you will play a vital role in providing technical support and service to our clients. This entry-level position is designed for individuals with a passion for technology, a willingness to learn, and a desire to develop a rewarding career in the service industry.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Technical Support:
- Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues reported by clients.
- Learn and apply technical knowledge to resolve problems efficiently.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment as directed.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
Customer Interaction:
- Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide clear and concise explanations of technical issues and solutions.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work performed, parts used, and resolutions applied.
- Complete service reports and submit them in a timely manner.
Training and Development:
- Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies.
Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other team members and departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Seek guidance from experienced technicians to enhance learning.
Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during service activities.
- Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- 0 – 1 years of experience in a technical or service-related role, or equivalent military or practical experience.
- Technical certification or coursework in a relevant field is a plus.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Bend or twist body.
- Use hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools. or controls.
- Stand for long periods of time.
- Keep or regain their balance.
- Kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl.
