The Budd Group, a leading privately held, family-owned company with over 60 years of experience delivering exceptional custodial, landscaping, and maintenance services, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development & Sales Manager to drive significant growth within the private education sector, specifically targeting Private K-12 and Higher Education institutions. This is a pivotal role for a self-starter with a proven track record in sales and a deep understanding of the educational landscape.
Your Mission: Driving Sales and Business Development in Private Education
- Aggressively expand our client base through strategic business development and sales initiatives, focusing on private K-12 schools and universities throughout the Southeast United States.
- Proactively prospect, schedule compelling presentations, and successfully close sales deals with key decision-makers within educational institutions.
- Develop and present tailored solutions and proposals that directly address the unique operational needs of each school, leveraging your business development expertise.
- Represent The Budd Group at industry trade shows and events, fostering valuable connections and generating new sales leads.
- Implement effective business development strategies to increase market share within the Private Education, K-12 and Higher Education market.
What You Need: A Proven Sales and Business Development Professional
- 4+ years of proven B2B sales and business development experience, consistently exceeding performance quotas.
- Demonstrated success in selling to K-12 schools or universities, with a strong understanding of their procurement processes.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, essential for effective sales and business development.
- Proficiency in utilizing digital CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce.com) for efficient lead management and sales tracking.
- Willingness to travel extensively (50-75%) throughout the Southeastern United States to cultivate and close sales opportunities.
- Bachelors degree or higher preferred
