Position Summary:
The ACCOUNT MANAGER will be responsible for driving exceptional customer satisfaction, ensuring account retention, and fostering positive employee relations. Key responsibilities include scheduling account personnel, establishing work standards, conducting site evaluations and audits, managing inventory and equipment usage, controlling budgets, troubleshooting and problem-solving, and overseeing the orientation and training of supervisory and support staff. Additionally, the ACCOUNT MANAGER will uphold safety compliance, maintain strong customer relationships, and manage special projects as requested. This individual will ensure all managed services are delivered effectively and cost-efficiently.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee expenses for all janitorial operations within the facility, regularly reviewing job costs and making adjustments to meet budget targets.
  • Ensure that service delivery meets the highest standards of quality across the organization.
  • Maintain employee personnel records in compliance with administrative requirements.
  • Plan, organize, coordinate, and supervise janitorial operations across all shifts.
  • Develop and implement workflow processes and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental procedures in alignment with local, state, federal, and company regulations.

Position Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: 2-5 years in a relevant management role.
  • Financial Acumen: Proficient in creating and forecasting productivity, staffing, and budget plans, and initiating corrective actions professionally when necessary.
  • Client Relations: Commitment to client satisfaction and quality standards. Ability to effectively communicate with clients regarding services, performance, and contract expectations. Provide feedback to management on client needs and potential opportunities to expand relationships.
  • Team Leadership: Proven ability to coach, motivate, develop, and lead a team. Familiarity with HR practices, including staffing plans, job descriptions, employee relations, training, safety, benefits, and succession planning.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate’s degree or higher (BA/BS preferred).
  • Experience: 2-5 years of management experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to walk or stand for extended periods.
