Office Services Assistant - Part Time
*Part time position Monday Wednesday and Friday in the Yardley PA office
SUMMARY
Responsible for supervising activities to ensure effective and efficient operations of the office. Manages clerical and other support staff as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Organizes office activities and schedules; develops and implements office procedures and systems; ensures smooth office operations;
• Provides administrative support for management team as required;
• Provides liaison support between local office and corporate departments;
• Manages vendor relationships, delivery contracts, etc.;
• Maintains and updates organization files and designs filing systems as required;
• Maintains and orders office supplies and equipment as required;
• Schedules and coordinates all in-house licensing and CE courses;
• Manages one or more clerical and/or support staff employee(s);
• Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information);
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
of related administrative or general office experience
Experience and general knowledge of the commercial insurance industry is a plus
SKILLS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good leadership, problem solving and time management skills
Good planning, organizational and prioritization skills
Ability and motivation to work independently
Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
