SENIOR RECREATION LEADER (Court Sports)

JOB SUMMARY:

Under direct or general supervision, assists in administering activities in connection with recreational services of a recreation facility and/or event; performs related work as necessary.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Regular attendance is required. All duties performed on-site for the Community.

Administers the facility assigned to and; follows and enforces all applicable GRF Policies, Rules and Regulations.

Attends the reception desk, receives incoming telephone calls and answers a variety of questions relating to services and programs.

Composes and types form letters and other routine correspondence, prepares rough draft report narratives and tabulations. Coordinates reservations with clubhouse supervisors and assists with the coordination of room diagrams, instructing staff how to complete the set-ups as needed.

Prepares weekly calendar of activities. Maintains the recreation utilization report.

Assists with event equipment setups, break downs and clean up; lifting up to 50lbs. Monitors safety of facility, programs, events and activities. Provides basic custodial services as needed.

Provides excellent customer service and builds meaningful relationships with residents and co- workers.

Assists with essential office duties including research, data entry, report generating and filing.

Opens and closes facilities as scheduled. Works and assists the Security and Compliance departments as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Senior Recreation Leader- Court Sports

This position adheres to all Senior Recreation Leader essential functions above and includes the following:

Supervises and assists with the coordination of club events and lessons; coordinates leagues, tournaments and socials with Fitness Supervisor

Monitors safety of facility, programs, events and activities. 

Reports racquet sport facility problems to the Fitness Supervisor or Golf Manager. 

Monitors Court Reserve reservation and drop-in priority systems to ensure court assignment is fair and equitable; monitors the guests and ensures guest policies are enforced

Must be CPR, AED and first-aid certified.

Coordinates vendor and contractor work as directed by the Golf Operations Manager. 

Provides basic custodial work as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Fitness Supervisor or Manager.

AED/CPR/First Aid certification recommended.
