POSITION SUMMARY:

  • The Director, Account Executives reports to the Vice President - National Accounts

The Director, Account Executives is a key leadership role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the sales activities and performance of a specific division or business unit. With extensive experience in sales management, this position plays a critical role in driving revenue growth, building client relationships, and leading a team of Account Executives to achieve sales targets and objectives.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Leadership:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Account Executives team within the assigned division, setting clear objectives and priorities to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives to penetrate new markets, acquire new clients, and maximize sales opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales organization.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners, serving as a primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
  • Lead strategic account planning efforts, identifying opportunities for growth and developing tailored solutions to meet client needs and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of client strategies with overall business objectives and delivery capabilities.

Performance Management:

  • Oversee the performance of the Account Executives team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure sales targets are achieved and exceeded.
  • Set and monitor key performance metrics and KPIs to track progress towards sales objectives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement sales training programs and initiatives to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team.

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute divisional sales strategies, aligning sales objectives with company goals and market trends.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis, competitive intelligence, and sales performance metrics.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with other departments, including Marketing, Product Development, and Operations, to ensure alignment and support for divisional sales initiatives.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives and drive growth within a specific division or business unit.
  • Strong customer orientation with a track record of building and maintaining long-term client relationships and delivering exceptional customer value.
  • Extensive knowledge and expertise in sales management, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and managing sales teams.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate vision, strategy, and goals to internal and external stakeholders.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent military or practical experience.
  • 12 – 15 years of progressive experience in sales leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and managing sales teams.
  • Deep industry knowledge and a strong network of contacts.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage change in a dynamic and competitive market environment.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable sales strategies.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.

The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate’s unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.
 

In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark’s’ benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc.  Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
