POSITION SUMMARY:

  • The Divisional Vice President of Finance & Accounting reports to the Regional CFO
  • Located in Omaha, NE
  • Full-Time
  • Hybrid

 

As the Divisional Vice President of Finance, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing the financial strategy of a designated business division within TriMark. With extensive proven experience in finance leadership, you will lead a dynamic team of finance professionals, drive financial performance, and provide invaluable insights to executive leadership. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of financial intricacies, strong leadership skills, and the ability to navigate a complex and dynamic business landscape.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Financial Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy for the assigned division, aligning with overall organizational goals.
  • Provide strategic guidance on financial matters to the divisional leadership team.

Financial Governance and Compliance:

  • Ensure rigorous adherence to financial regulations, reporting requirements, and internal policies within the division.
  • Implement and oversee robust governance structures to maintain financial integrity and accountability.

Team Leadership and Talent Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing finance team within the division, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and nurture talent to ensure a strong pipeline of future finance leaders.

Financial Risk Management:

  • Develop and implement strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks specific to the division.
  • Ensure the division's financial resilience by proactively managing risk factors.

Executive Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Effectively communicate complex financial information to executive leadership, board members, and other stakeholders within the division.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial alignment with the division's strategic objectives.

 

COMPETENCIES:

  • Develops and executes comprehensive financial strategies aligned with divisional and organizational goals.
  • Ensures strict adherence to financial regulations, reporting, and internal policies within the division.
  • Inspires and mentors a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Evaluates and executes financial aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships within the division.
  • Proactively identifies, assesses, and mitigates financial risks to ensure divisional financial resilience.
  • Communicates complex financial information effectively to executive leadership and stakeholders within the division.
  • Excellent leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred, or equivalent Military or practical experience.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in finance, with a minimum of 10 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record in shaping and executing complex financial strategies within a divisional context.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting.
  • Strong team management and leadership experience.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.

The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate’s unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.
 

In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark’s’ benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc.  Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
