The Digital Operations Associate will support the Director, Digital Operations in coordinating the flow of metadata and assets to major online retailers for S&S distribution clients. They will have an interest in both the print and digital world, as this position will be responsible for:
- Managing day to day operational relationships with existing eBook & print on demand accounts
- Leading onboarding efforts related to eBooks and print on demand titles for new distribution clients and provide ongoing support once they are live.
- Troubleshooting online retailer corrections issues
- Working closely with our content distribution provider to manage Simon & Schuster’s ONIX and asset feeds
- Acting as the liaison between Client Services, Sales, IT, and all Simon & Schuster international offices to troubleshoot/coordinate metadata and other operational initiatives
- Assisting on special projects as needed
Candidate Requirements:
- One year work experience is preferred.
- Detail oriented with strong interpersonal & computer skills
- Ability to multi-task & handle a diverse range of issues
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
- IBM Cognos and basic SQL a plus; BA/BS required.
- The ideal candidate is naturally inquisitive, a problem solver and develops the ability to work independently.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
