Job Overview
The Order Processing Rep is responsible for reviewing, coding & making decisions related to various Customer & Intercompany purchase order processing. Determine shipping method, obtain release approvals, and troubleshoot stock disposition with Supply Chain & the warehouse.
DUTIES:
- Responsible for accuracy and speed in the processing of all manual customer and intercompany purchase orders received in 8 different email boxes daily in a production environment.
- Responsible for ensuring all time critical processing is completed according to customer arrival dates and communicating immediately if the request cannot be met.
- Responsible for communicating issues to Management to assist in problem resolution.
- Interact frequently with Supply Chain, Publicity, Marketing, Customer Service & Customer Financial Services to ensure customer’s requests are met.
- Communicating with the warehouse to pull & triage special title printings based on requests received from New York office.
- Responsible for reviewing the laydown and embargo title listing to ensure titles are not released early without Publisher approval.
- Additional responsibilities will include Claim Processing and Publicity.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School graduate, College preferred.
- Excellent communication skills: verbal and written.
- Excellent PC Skills: Uops, CSI, Stock Allocation & Inventory Management systems
- Ability to analyze day to day processes and make suggestions for improvements where needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills needed in dealing with employees in Riverside and New York, management, and Distribution Clients
- Must be able to exercise good independent judgment.
- Well organized, with excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be able to interpret objectives and coordinate day to day tasks.
- Good at facilitating problem solving with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
SCHEDULED WORK HOURS: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies.
