Education & Special Events Coordinator
Essence of the role (Role’s Purpose):
The Education and Special Events Coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing educational programs and special events. This role requires a creative and detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Recipe for Success (Responsibilities):
• Plan and coordinate special education events, including workshops, webinars, seminars, retail partner meetings, manufacturing tours and community outreach activities for Renew Life, Rainbow Life, Neocell and Natural Vitality
• Manage all education event logistics, including venue selection, scheduling, budgeting and travel (where applicable).
• Collaborate with internal cross function teams to ensure all marketing materials needed for events are requested in a timely manner and distributed out accordingly
• Support online training videos and educational content on our brands
• Provide free samples and product for trainees who complete training
• Manage store certifications on our brands for stores that complete the training
• Inform and track which stores complete training with the sales team
• Schedule trainings with retail partners based upon their needs and products assortment they carry
• Maintain accurate records and reports on program activities and outcomes.
• Maintain budget and department calendar for the Education team
• Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and events by providing a recap of each event (including financials) and make recommendations for improvements.
Ingredients Required (Qualifications):
• Experience and knowledge of vitamins, supplements and natural health products
• Nutrition education experience within the health retail industry is a plus
• Bachelors’ degree Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills are a must
• 1-3 years in a marketing role or past internships
• Experience using Adobe Suite
• Experience in event planning
• Proactive personality and careful attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and demonstrate agility
• An ability to flawlessly multi-task and thrive under pressure and deadlines
• Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills with a smile
• Familiarity with the supplement industry is a plus
Role’s Physical Requirements:
Hybrid- On site in our Bohemia, NY office two days a week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays)
