Evening Shift 12p-9:30p EST
Pay: $19.24/hr
SUMMARY:
The LegalView Specialist will ensure assigned client’s remote video events occur as scheduled without technical difficulties, plus monitors the quality of the connection in real time to ensure all logistics, questions and concerns for the client and remote participants are addressed. This role requires a quiet environment with the ability to appear on camera. The LegalView Specialist is required to stay knowledgeable regarding technological advances in the legal support industry.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Actively demonstrates the company values of SPIRITED.
- Coordinate and monitor all aspects of events involving remote video attendees taking place worldwide in multiple time zones.
- Remotely assist clientele with installing and testing various streaming platforms (Zoom, WebEx, Teams).
- Locate and test connectivity for suitable remote locations.
- Assign and keep remote Monitors and Document Technicians apprised of all requirements to assist with monitoring and document technology as needed. Notify monitors/technicians/departments of all changes.
- Act as a remote internal monitor to ensure video footage is recorded and occurs without technical difficulties.
- Ensures data in Salesforce database includes all relevant information relating to locations of attendees, their methods of connecting to the event and their contact information.
- Source, train and manage video technicians for on-site coverage.
- Update any instructional documents associated with LegalView services as needed.
- Research and keep abreast of all changes in the industry.
- Maintain a strong working relationship with all departments to support company operations and goals and to expedite the resolution of any problems that may arise.
- Inform and/or update managers and team members on relevant information in a timely manner.
- Inform supervisor of any equipment, software, or procedural needs.
- Safeguard confidentiality of the client information to include medical records and comply with local, state, and federal law pertaining to medical records. Assures compliance with all HIPAA regulations concerning use, retrieval, storage and sharing of medical records.
- Perform other duties and assist with projects as assigned.
COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly developed organizational skills. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and complex problems in a fast-paced work environment.
- General computer skills (Outlook, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Windows).
- Flexible schedule and available to work occasional overtime as required.
- Ability to work with deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Works well independently and with other department members.
- Accepts direction well.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Familiarity with subpoenas, written depositions, and affidavits.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of one year of experience in the court reporting industry.
- Team player approach.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role is not a supervisory position.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers whose first language is English.
