Job Summary:
We are seeking an entry-level Flow Control Applications Engineer to join our team. The Flow Control Applications Engineer will work closely with our experienced engineers to provide technical support and develop solutions for our customers' flow control needs. The successful candidate will have a background in mechanical engineering, fluid mechanics, and instrumentation, as well as a strong desire to learn and develop skills in flow control systems and software. The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively with our team to identify customer needs and develop solutions, as well as independently to design and test flow control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers and experienced engineers on flow control systems and products.
- Assist and manage bid packages for key customers and engineering firms.
- Assist in the design and development of flow control systems, including selection of components and instrumentation, and implementation of control algorithms.
- Assist in conducting testing and validation of flow control systems and products.
- Work collaboratively with our team to identify customer needs and develop solutions.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations and training to customers, sales team, and internal stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies related to flow control and instrumentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, control systems, and instrumentation.
- Basic knowledge of flow control software and systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- A desire to learn and develop skills in flow control systems and software.
