Role Overview: 

Purpose:  This is a high impact customer facing role.

  • As a Sr. Solution Architect, be a lead in driving the technical and application discussions with existing and new customers for Industrial AI, SCADA, MES, and Digital Transformation engagements.  In short, help the commercial team drive technical solutions that solve problems for customers.

Work with the sales team to proactively drive customer facing activities in four areas:

  • Technical Events and Customer Meetings (meetings, product and technology updates, webinars, etc.).
  • Build and develop solutions for customers that include Bill of Materials and Proposal Development.
  • Product and Technology Roadmaps that drive solution sales and project work.
  • Development of sales collaterals to be used in the activities listed above.
  • Learn, Innovate, Grow – Be the product and technology champion for our team.

Function: 

  • Solution Architects are the go-to team for knowledge in the core areas that ATI is growing in:
    • Core Technology Application Areas:  Controls, SCADA, OT Security, MES, Analytics, High Availability Compute Platforms and control centric platforms like PLCs and VFDs.
  • Collect, prioritize, and convert sales materials for the Core Technology Areas – the team needs to be able to shape, lead and advise viewpoints and discussions with customers in these areas. 
  • Plan, coordinate, and setup presales solution architecture activities with the sales team.
  • Maintain a strong communication channel with vendors and update sales team with solution applications. Therefore, be the Product and Technology liaison with our core vendors and sales team members
     

Responsibilities

  • Execute technical pre-sales activities – help us drive growth!
  • Be part of weekly rhythm and cadence with the team including tracking metrics in a dashboard.
  • Act as the go to person with key vendors to disseminate and teach others in our organization on their products, technologies and applications long with customer targets. This task will help drive sales-enablement.
  • Support and co-develop quotes and proposals.
