Join Our Team as a Hotel Maintenance Engineer!

About the Role:
As a Hotel Maintenance Engineer, you will ensure that our hotel systems, equipment, and facilities are well-maintained and operate efficiently. From routine maintenance to preventive care, your expertise will be crucial in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Overview of Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair areas throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back and front-of-house areas.
• Execute the preventive maintenance program to ensure all hotel areas and guest rooms are functioning properly, operating smoothly, and maintaining a great appearance.
• Help reduce energy usage and support sustainability efforts.
• Conduct inspections, safety checks, and maintain fire systems while complying with local, state, and federal health & safety regulations in all maintenance activities.
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests, guest concerns, and other emergencies or urgent matters.
• Work with other hotel departments to address maintenance needs and minimize disruptions for guests.
• Follow company policies, including health & safety, time & attendance, meal & rest breaks, uniform standards, and code of conduct.
• Be punctual and professional, providing excellent service to our guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3-5 years of experience and certifications or training in facilities maintenance and engineering preferred, ideally within hospitality.
• Strong skills in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, painting, and other related areas.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Working Conditions:

• Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that may include confined spaces and heights, exposure to noise, temperature fluctuations, and variable weather conditions while maintaining focus, attention to detail and safety.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks and physically demanding activities, such as climbing, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
• Flexible hours, including weekends, weeknights, weekdays, and holidays.
