As a member of a team of HRIS and HR technology administrators, this role serves as an expert in:

  • Administering the Dayforce HCM platform
  • Troubleshooting user inquiries
  • Leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform
  • Developing and maintaining workflows to facilitate seamless file transfers and data integration with third-party systems

The Sr HRIS Analyst brings a unique blend of technical, analytical, and Human Resources-specific knowledge, along with strong people skills - to effectively manage, optimize, and support our HR technology systems.

You will also act as a primary point of contact between Farm Credit Foundations and the outsourced technology provider to manage our HR technology and implement new tools and functionality.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Leveraging technology to design efficient business processes within and between systems
  • Delving into available system functionality to maximize the use of technology.  Including tools such as Dayforce HCM, M365, and Jira Service Management and record retention platforms.
  • Configuring and troubleshooting HCM environments.
  • Developing and facilitating on-demand reporting and data integration requests.
  • Creating and managing complex reports and dashboards to extract actionable insights.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact between Foundations and outsourced technology provider.
  • Designing and building processes utilizing available tools such as Microsoft Power Apps to address specific business needs.
  • Creating automated workflows and processes in Power Automate to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Developing data models, dashboards, and reports in Power BI for actionable insights and data-driven decision-making.
  • Organizing and leading pilot programs or proof of concept initiatives for selected technologies, managing timelines and resources.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or technology field
  • Five years payroll, HRIS, or related business experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
  • Strong technical competence with various Payroll/HR information systems (e.g. Dayforce, UKG, ADP); including HRIS implementation, deployment and upgrades
  • Significant skill in leveraging and troubleshooting payroll/HRIS systems to help solve business issues
  • Complex report writing skills utilizing various tools primarily based on SQL
  • Strong skill in understanding database relationships
  • Excellent communication skills with an emphasis in client service
  • Skill in data analytics and business intelligence
  • Ability to synthesize complex datasets, create key takeaways & recommendations, and influence by telling a story built on data
  • Skill in performing a variety of duties with frequent interruptions or distractions
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills

 Additional Desired Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Power Platform specialist, designing and implementing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies highly desirable
  • Relevant certifications, such as HRIP, business analyst, data analytics, or the Microsoft Power Platform are highly desirable
