What You’ll Do:
As a Coordinator II, you’ll take ownership of resolving complex provider inquiries and ensuring smooth processes across teams. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing escalation calls from Tier 1 and taking decisive steps to resolve issues.
- Handling internal and external email correspondence and ensuring timely follow-up.
- Accessing payer systems to research refund questions and address provider concerns.
- Logging and responding to voicemails in accordance with service levels.
- Making outbound calls to assist providers with using our portal, verifying details, and confirming receipt of EXL request letters.
- Monitoring and responding to provider chat inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
- Identifying and reporting system or workflow issues to leadership for resolution.
- Meeting quality and productivity standards to ensure excellent service delivery.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Experience:
- High-volume customer service or call center experience required.
- Background in medical claims or claim payments preferred.
- Healthcare experience is a plus!
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Skills:
- Strong oral and written communication abilities with a problem-solving mindset.
- Exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail.
- Time management expertise and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook) and comfort with various software programs.
