To keep proper record of all amounts due to the hotel from guest, as well as any sundry accounts (employees’ account). Balance all subsidiary accounts receivable ledgers to the appropriate control account
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the accuracy of all charges and credits to the various accounts and that they are properly entered on a timely basis.
- Ensure that accounts, statements, and follow-up letters are mailed on a timely basis.
- Ensure that the necessary information regarding overdue accounts is supplied to the proper people for follow-up.
- Control by recording, posting, and balancing of all advance deposits.
- Respond to guests’ queries and account disputes.
- Prepare all necessary reports regarding accounts receivable (e.g. quarterly accounts receivable report).
- Performs other duties as may be assigned.
