Oversees the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring efficient guest service and administrative support. To lead the team of front desk agents, providing guidance, training, and support to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold hotel standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise front desk staff, including assigning tasks, providing training, and monitoring performance to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest service.
- Assist with guest check-in and check-out procedures, resolving any issues or concerns, and handling escalated situations promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other hotel departments to fulfill guest requests, maintain cleanliness, and address maintenance issues in guest rooms and public areas.
- Monitor front desk activities, including phone calls, emails, and guest interactions, to ensure prompt and courteous service and adherence to hotel policies and procedures.
- Assist with scheduling for front desk staff, ensuring adequate coverage and optimal team performance.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to provide accurate information and recommendations to guests.
- Implement and enforce safety and security protocols, including emergency procedures and key control, to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, communication, and professional development among front desk staff.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, balancing cash drawers and reconciling receipts according to hotel procedures.
- Guam
