Supervises directs and coordinates the activities of the Bell Service staffs in providing the proper, courteous manner to all Hotel guests. Ensure the smooth movement of all guest luggage to dispatch swiftly and accurately. Attend to guest calls/requests or complaints. Oversee the smooth flow of traffic at the main driveway and entrance of the hotel. Maintain a logbook record of follow-ups, guest requests and complaints and activities of Bell Service personnel.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth movement of all guest luggage and see to it that they are dispatched swiftly and accurately.
- Attend to guest calls/requests. Assist Bell Service Agents when the need arises especially during peak hours.
- Oversee the smooth flow of traffic at the main driveway and entrance of the hotel.
- Maintain a logbook record of follow-ups, guest requests and complaints and activities of Bell Service personnel.
- Report all relevant and unusual incidents in the lobby area.
- Ensure that all guest messages, newspaper and sundry items are delivered swiftly and accurately.
- Attend to guest complaints, inquiries and requests as soon as possible and in a professional manner.
- Monitor the movement of all Bell Service Agents; ensure that they are on their proper posts when at the lobby.
- Oversee and monitor status of guests left luggage with the airline.
- Ensure that the proper reports are made concerning lost luggage or other unusual incidents.
- Ensure that all hotel reports are distributed to other departments swiftly and accurately.
- Ensures the cleanliness of the luggage storeroom and see to it that the items kept for storage/safekeeping are arranged in an orderly manner.
- Supervise a professional and customer friendly paging system at the lobby and at the façade of the hotel.
- Check on a daily basis the correctness of the function board located at the lobby.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
