Position Overview:

The Sales Intern will assist the Sales team in executing sales strategies, conducting market research, managing customer relationships, and supporting sales operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales processes and contribute to the growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential customers, new market opportunities, and competitive analysis.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Assist in managing customer accounts, including maintaining accurate records, responding to inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Sales Support: Support the Sales team in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations for clients.
  • Lead Generation: Help identify and qualify sales leads through research, cold calling, and networking.
  • Sales Reporting: Assist in tracking and analyzing sales performance metrics, including sales volume, customer feedback, and market trends.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the Sales team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and organizing sales materials.
  • Event Participation: Support the planning and execution of sales events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and promotional activities.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Good analytical skills with the ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and provide actionable insights.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Customer Focus: A customer-centric approach with a passion for delivering exceptional service and building lasting relationships.
  • Sales Acumen: Basic understanding of sales principles, customer relationship management, and business development strategies.
