Dinsmore is seeking a Litigation Support Specialist at our Cincinnati, OH location to join the Litigation Support Department. This position will report to the eDiscovery Director.

 

The Litigation Support Specialist is responsible for use and maintenance of evidence databases, supporting software applications such as Trial Director, X1 and TextMap, training for attorneys and paralegals, and general technical support for the litigation department. The position will also perform data analysis across a variety of areas, using the tools they are most comfortable with (e.g., Excel, R, Python, etc.)

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Capture web page and webmail content
  • Capture social media content
  • Capture, create and edit video content
  • Manage inventory of trial computers and security keys
  • Archive case data and manage archive inventory
  • Participate in data security and privacy efforts
  • Acting as liaison with external e-Discovery providers or other external litigation support specialists
  • Support trial efforts as needed, including loading and presenting case evidence and media during trial proceedings
  • Courtroom and remote office/war-room technology setup, document preparation and working with other electronic media for presentation
  • Provide training and troubleshooting for attorneys, paralegals and staff on the use of eDiscovery applications
  • Support imaging and electronic discovery related projects
  • Perform quality control measures

 

Requirements

 

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • The ability to figure out new tools and offerings.
  • Excellent customer-service skills and ability to work in a fast-pace environment and handle stressful situations with poise.
  • The ability to work independently and as a team member with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize assignments.
  • Bachelor’s degree.  A degree in a technical field could be helpful, but is not required.
  • Experience with data automation a plus.
  • 2+ years litigation support experience a plus.
  • Experience with Trial Director, TextMap and video editing tools a plus

 

Travel potential is typically between 15% and 25%, but as needed to support remote trial teams in person
