Customer Service Rep Job Description
A customer service representative (CSR) interacts with customers to help with their needs and resolve issue
Customer Service Rep Job Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries, CSRs provide information about products and services, process orders, and answer questions.
- Resolve customer concerns, CSRs address complaints and grievances, and try to maintain customer relations.
- Provide proactive support, CSRs may offer support before customers ask for it. They may also respond to customer reviews and try to turn negative reviews into positive experiences
- Perform administrative tasks CSRs may manage records, file, and schedule
- Document interactions, CSRs may keep records of customer interactions and transactions in a CRM system.
- Maintains a clean work area, consistent with workplace organization/5S ideology
- Interacts with Supervisors to address daily needs, issues, or concerns
- Performs other duties as assigned
Customer Service Rep Job Qualifications
- Three (3) to five (5) years of previous customer service experience
- Two (2) or more years warehouse experience
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, instructional, and leadership skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to demonstrate full understanding of production flow process
- Strong Microsoft office and computer applications skills
- Ability to use SAP as related to production
- Employees in all warehouse positions must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns that are used to warn employees of the start-up, movement, or approach of equipment (including forklifts, turrets, overhead cranes, conveyors, trucks, and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse), mechanical abnormalities, and similar risk situations during warehouse operations
