PURPOSE:

The Logistics Coordinator verifies outgoing shipments and records data within the Company’s ERP system.

 

KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Verifies outgoing shipments of finished product according to records and then records information or data within the Company’s ERP system.
  • Publish a shipment log.
  • Interact with freight forwarders and transportation companies to ship completed orders.
  • Will need to work in various computer systems

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be able to work any shift
  • Must be able to score satisfactory on pre-employment assessment

 

COMPETENCIES:

  • Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with changing concrete variables with limited supervision
  • Prior SAP experience; other ERP software experience a plus a plus
  • Self-motivated and detailed-oriented.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to effectively work with individuals both inside and outside the company.
  • Ability to work independently and to work collaboratively in a team environment
