Retail Data and Analytics Associate Hybrid
The Data & Analytics Associate is responsible for the development of reporting to support the analysis that underpin informed short-term and long-range decision making by Merchandising, Planning and Allocation teams to optimize sales opportunities and assess risk with the support of the Manager. Contributes to multiple cross functional business teams as well as being one of the planning/allocation/merchandise liaisons with IT. Associate is ultimately responsible for overseeing the production of key business reports and analytics.
Essential Functions
- As business needs require, provide accurate, complete planning/allocation/merchandising business intelligence reporting including analysis and recommendations.
- Establish and help manage production of key business reporting and report development tools for all planning/allocation/merchandising users
- Support planning/allocation/merchandising with the design of actionable business reporting.
- Power user and expert on planning/allocation/merchandising requirements for new tools, projects, and data availability.
- Ability to learn quickly, develop creative solutions when troubleshooting, offer short term and long-term fixes to implement systemic and/ or process changes
- Capacity to communicate with effectively with merchant teams as well as articulate business needs and issues with IT
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required
Years of related experience: 2 - 5 years
Required skills & abilities: Proficient in Excel, Retail Math, Strong organization & communication skills, data analytics, MicroStrategy, Snowflake, Hyperion, SAP, Access
