Associate Manager, Contracts

The Associate Manager, Contracts, will report to the VP, Contracts and will focus on acquisition agreements for S&S Canada.

Candidates must have at least five years of relevant experience working with contracts at a publishing company and/or a literary agency.  Relevant experience includes drafting and negotiating publishing agreements, amendments, work-for-hire agreements, and reviewing payment requests. 

Candidates must possess a  willingness to learn and should expect to specialize in two or more responsibilities, with nominal assistance, in a very detail-oriented, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work independently, learn and use in-house royalty and data management systems, track in-house approvals, advise S&S Canada on in-house precedent, and respond to requests from outside the company.
