Senior Marketing Manager, Gallery Books

Gallery Books is seeking an experienced marketer to join our team as Senior Marketing Manager. In this role, the ideal candidate will run high-priority advertising and promotion campaigns on celebrity memoir and non-fiction titles. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills; experience with project management and organization; and creativity for the formulation and coordination of several marketing initiatives as a leader on the Gallery Books marketing team.

Role Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing. Experience with brand partnerships and social media strategy a plus.  
• Campaign strategy for 8-10 titles per season, including advertising, social media strategy, author communications, in-house vertical cooperation, collaborating with publicity teams and creative presentation.
• Contributing to and consistently optimizing marketing best practices to keep Gallery on the cutting edge of strategy and creative promotion.
• Curiosity in out-of-the-box marketing strategy, including interest in pursuing brand partnerships and promotional opportunities within and outside of book publishing.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with both internal teams and external client groups (authors/agents/third party partners, etc.).
• Digital advertising and promotion expertise.
• Ability to prioritize projects and meet dynamic deadlines.
• Creative problem-solving and solutions-oriented mindset.
• Proactive and motivated leaderships skills and ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent writing skills.
• Positive attitude and drive to succeed.
• Passion for books and marketing strategy.
• Fluency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Fluency in Canva a plus.
