We are seeking dynamic Material Handling Remarketing Manager to lead our remarketing efforts in the Chicagoland area. This role will focus on optimizing the lifecycle of our material handling equipment and maximizing the return on investment through strategic remarketing initiatives.
The primary responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute remarketing strategies for used material handling equipment
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new marketing opportunities
- Collaborate with sales, service and inventory management teams to optimize equipment readiness for resale.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, dealers, and industry partners
- Prepare and present reports on remarketing performance and market insights.
- Manage pricing strategies and ensure competitive positioning in the market
- Oversee inventory management and logistics related to remarketing
Activities
- Set up a regular cadence to visit the Chicagoland locations on a weekly basis
- Consistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start time
- Incorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities
- Performs other duties as assigned
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field
- 5+ years of experience in remarketing, sales, or a related field within the material handling industry
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision making
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
- Reliable vehicle required
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
- Physical/Sensory Functions: Regularly will use hands, sit, talk/hear, taste/smell; Frequently will stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; Occasionally will climb or balance.
- Lift and/or Move Functions: Regularly will lift up to 25 pounds; Occasionally will lift up to 50 pounds
- Work Environment: Occasionally will work near moving mechanical parts
