Who we are looking for:

The Analyst II, Deal Desk is responsible for supporting deal analytics, modeling and process improvement for the Enterprise through smaller Dealers at ACV Auctions. This role utilizes analytics to leverage data, create insights, and frame on the financial impacts on the organization and ACV customers. The Analyst II, Deal Desk gathers, distills, and presents data to continuously improve, measure, and track the deal portfolio for the sales team.

 

What you will do:

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Collect, process, and analyze deal data, including sales metrics, customer data, and ACV marketplace trends, to provide meaningful insights and recommendations for sales strategy, rebate renewals and pricing program enhancement
  • Identify sales tooling and process for improvement
  • Ability to gather customer, market and ACV data to build deal financial models and assess results vs. target margins
  • Develop and generate regular sales reports and dashboards, presenting key performance indicators to track progress and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Coordinate with Business Operations, Product & Technology on development or third-party solutions to expand capabilities with measurable impact.
  • Collect and share best practices, deal success, and case studies to provide sales team with expanding toolbox to tailor to customer interaction and proposals
  • Other ad-hoc special projects assigned by CSO, CGO and VP of Sales Ops
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What you will need:

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years’ progressive experience across Finance, Consulting or Operations
  • Financial and operational modeling experience, command of MS Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Experience with SQL, Tableau, and Python (or similar analytical packages) a plus
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills tailored to audience

 

Compensation: $64,000-$80,000 annually. Please note that final compensation will be determined based upon the applicant's relevant experience, skillset, location, business needs, market demands, and other factors as permitted by law.
