Engineering Intern

Flexco, a leading global manufacturer, is seeking a student who is looking to gain hands-on engineering experience for an internship. The chosen candidate would perform duties in our engineering test lab such as product installations, assist in managing the test queue, report writing, helping the Heavy Duty engineering group with projects and activities, and more.

You will also participate in a structured internship program designed to promote professional growth through open discussion informational panels, learning about various departments that make up Flexco, and develop other useful skills to apply in the workplace.

Flexco Internships typically start out at $18 an hour.

Job Requirements:

1. Full-time onsite availability (40 hours/week)
2. Must be currently attending college or enrolled for Fall 2025
3. Major in Engineering, Mechanical is preferred
1. Non-mechanical degree applicants with strong mechanical aptitude or experience in mechanical testing/design will also be considered

Qualifications:

• Strong computer skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable with hands-on work
• Maintain multiple projects and be able to work under deadlines
• Perform physical tasks pertaining to testing
• Willingness to return during summer and winter break while student finishes their degree program

Details:

1. This role is located in our testing facility, which can be noisy and dirty. The attire required for production operators is required, including PPE and safety shoes.
2. May be eligible for up to four hours/day of holiday pay.
