Position Summary: 

As an Associate User Experience Researcher, you will design and develop research-driven, learner-centered experiences, integrating learning science principles and technology to optimize engagement and retention. You will create the learning experience, from technology to interface, prototyping, testing, and design iteration, ensuring alignment with pedagogical goals and best practices. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, effective learning pathways and continuously improve the learning environment through data-driven insights. 

 

Essential Job Functions:  

  • Execute and analyze user research studies using various methods (e.g., interviews, usability testing, surveys) to gather insights into user behaviors, needs, and pain points. 

  • Assist in organizing research logistics, including participant recruitment, research planning, and maintaining research documentation and tools. 

  • Work closely with designers, product managers, and developers to communicate research findings and implement user-centered design solutions effectively. 

  • Understand continuous evaluation of learning experiences through data analysis, learner feedback, and usability testing, using insights to iterate and enhance learning pathways. 

  • Adhere to research processes, ensuring thorough documentation and standardization across projects to maintain consistency, transparency, and scalability in learning experience design.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:  

  • User-Centered Research Methodology: Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods, such as usability testing, user interviews, surveys, and data analysis, to generate actionable insights. 

  • Communication and Collaboration: Ability to clearly communicate research findings and insights to cross-functional teams, both verbally and in writing, ensuring alignment with product goals and design processes. 

  • Critical Thinking and Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to interpret research data, identify patterns, and offer solutions to user experience challenges, helping to inform design decisions. 

  • Adaptability and Continuous Learning: Openness to learning new research techniques and tools, as well as the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and fast-paced environments.
