Employment Logistics:
The Senior Manager of Delivery Innovation and Excellence is accountable for executing a strategy that transforms business operations by deploying performance improvement tools, owning end-to-end execution of Delivery focused metrics in quality and cost, Cross-functional initiatives working with GMs, Tech and Contractors, and organizational capabilities, identifying, and codifying best practices through standard work, and establishing superior and sustainable performance through a culture of continuous improvement. Aptitude to create a disciplined Last Mile Excellence culture that brings best practices and provides an in-depth deep dive platform for leaders to improve customer experience. While the primary focus of this position is to drive excellence in the safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance of last-mile delivery operations, this Senior Manager will influence change horizontally across the organization to ensure processes, assets, and services are optimized to enable achievement of the companies operating goals.

The Must-Haves:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, logistics or related field
- Master’s degree preferred
- Last Mile and Drive Management experience.
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time
- Rollup the sleeve and be flexible for seasonal business needs

- Inspires others through their enthusiasm and energy; builds concrete dotted relationships with RGMs, VPs, and other stakeholders by influencing them and executing changes in their space.

- Ability to organize and prioritize across many key deliverables, championed efforts to write a whitepaper to win larger approvals by narrating and proving a concept to the final solution.
- Have problem-solving expertise to enable organization/system-level implementation through change management and structured communication.
- Professional communication and influencing skills, including the ability to build collaborative relationships with several individuals across a matrixed organization.
- A strong passion for developing oneself and others; a self-starter who enjoys finding solutions in ambiguous problem-solving opportunities.
- Must have experience in the last mile, delivery execution, and contractor industry focusing on technology, process stabilization, and substantial cost improvement targeting network-level initiatives.
- Preferred experience in Continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, and Kaizens in impacting larger organizational changes.
- Above average skills in Microsoft Windows applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Data mining tools and an intermediate understanding of technology platforms.
