Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary

Supervises hourly employees in a manufacturing warehouse.

Job Duties

·       Oversee operations for a warehouse or during an assigned shift

·       Coordinate a team of hourly employees that store and distribute materials, equipment and/or supplies

·       Track inventory by performing physical counts and verifying information against warehousing systems

·       Monitor operations for compliance with regulations governing materials handling, storage, and distribution where applicable

·       Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately

·       Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)

·       Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures

·       Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education

·       Knowledge of the field's policies, procedures and practices

·       Lead and direct the work of other employees

·       Typically have full authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance or disciplinary actions

·       Typically require a high school diploma and 2 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
