EHS Representative
Job Summary |
Develops and implements safety-related programs and processes meant to prevent injuries, fires, or other workplace accidents on 2nd shift in a manufacturing plant. |
Job Duties |
· Inspects the workplace and identifies and addresses potential safety hazards · Creates and delivers safety training programs educating employees on safe working practices, appropriate equipment operation, and emergency procedures · Investigates incidents or accidents, gathers and analyzes statistics, and makes recommendations for improvements · Prepares and submits accident reports in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements · Completes all necessary documents fully and accurately · Adheres to 5S standards (e.g., maintains cleanliness of work station, etc.) · Follows all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures · Performs other duties as assigned |
Experience and Education |
· 0-2 years of experience · Bachelor’s degree · High school diploma or equivalent · Handles basic issues and problems and refers complex issues to higher-level staff · Performs work under direct supervision · Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter |
Competencies/ Skills |
· High computer literacy · Several years of experience working with Office Suite · Ability to interpret work instructions · Ability to follow written and verbal directions · Verbal and written communication skills · Ability to work as part of a team · Ability to build collaborative relationships · Ability to influence others · Problem/situation analysis · Detail oriented · Attentiveness |
