The Regional Ethics & Compliance Manager is responsible for managing, monitoring, and enhancing the Ethics / Integrity & Compliance Management System (ICMS) for MAN Energy Solutions USA and its entities in Panama, Mexico, Brazil, and other Americas region countries. This role ensures adherence to the highest ethical standards across the organization by providing expert advice to employees and management on compliance matters, including anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, fraud prevention, and breach of trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages, monitors and enhances a preventive Ethics / Integrity & Compliance Management System (ICMS). In addition to MAN Energy Solutions USA, the focus entities may also include Panama, Mexico, Brazil and countries in Region Americas.
  • Advises employees and management on compliance matters comprising in areas such as anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, preventing fraud and breach of trust. Cooperates closely with Integrity & Compliance (I&C) colleagues in other countries and regions of the MAN Energy Solutions Group.
  • Identifies, evaluates and mitigates potential integrity and compliance risks in projects and business transactions.
  • Together with the MAN Energy Solutions headquarters in Augsburg, Germany, develops and implements targeted integrity and compliance trainings for employees and third parties concerning legal and internal requirements and ethics.
  • Communicates integrity and compliance topics within the focus entities.
  • Conducts business partner due diligence with a focus on integrity and compliance.
  • Reports to the Chief Compliance Officer of the MAN Energy Solutions Group and the Managing Director of MAN Energy Solutions USA.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or similar university degree.
  • Five years of experience with integrity and the relevant compliance areas, ideally in an international environment in a company, advisory firm or professional services provider.
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills for identifying and understanding I&C risks.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and motivation skills.
  • Being a people person, trustworthy, demonstrating a very high level of integrity and responsibility.
  • Results and solutions-oriented way of working and advising. Organizational skills.
  • Positive and confident demeanor, assertiveness and persistence. Ability to cooperate and work in a team. Intercultural skills.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish. Ability to communicate in Portuguese is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel.
