Engineering Intern - Summer 2025

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 hour days; Summer 2025 (May-late August)

Position Summary: The Engineering Intern will provide technical support focusing on Manufacturing, Quality, or Operational projects. This position will assist these departments through project definition and implementation. The scope of projects will range from continuous manufacturing improvements to researching new technology. 

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Provide technical support to the engineering department
2. Create detailed test methods, reports, or project plans for assigned responsibilities
3. Assist with the implementation of process and design improvements
4. Coordinate and complete tasks as assigned by other departments
5. Participates in required company and department meetings
6. Supports and complies with the company’s Quality Management System (QMS), ISO, and medical device requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Motivated to impact a growing company and changing culture
• Pursuing Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent degree
• Ability to create and modify CAD models and read prints
• Strong verbal and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks when assigned
• Proficient PC skills in a Windows environment

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Hands-on machining or mechanical knowledge
• Medical device experience
• Automation or controls experience
• Excellent organizational skills and methods
