Facilities Technician - Onsite
Starting pay for this role is $24.00/hour. The Facilities Technician under the direction of the Facilities Maintenance Manager is responsible for repairs and maintenance of the entire facility
Key Responsibilities

Assists with maintaining building security and immediately responds to building emergencies during scheduled shift

Monitors and replaces light bulbs in all assigned facilities, as needed

Assists with departmental and employee moves

Hangs pictures and shelving, as needed
-
Dismantles and installs furniture
-
Transports goods or equipment as assigned
-
Performs other maintenance duties as assigned by the Facilities Maintenance Manager Responsible for all powered equipment, unscheduled maintenance and preventive maintenance

Provides immediate assistance to automated production equipment, troubleshoot issues and keep production on schedule
Qualifications
Skills and Requirements

Must be mechanically inclined, with a safety-first mentality

Must have a “Can Do Attitude” and be Self-starter as well as a team player

Must be able to take direction as well as ownership of given tasks

Understand and follow oral and written instructions

Ability to prioritize and manage multi-functional tasks
-
Ability to work effectively under pressure, and against strict time constraints

Ability to use standard powered and non-powered tools
-
Must be able to utilize/view a PC and/or monitor
-
Must be able to walk, bend, stand and reach for extended periods of time
-
Must be comfortable and able to work at heights of 20 feet
-
Must be able to work independently without direct supervision

Able to work in a refrigerated environment most of the day
-
Must be able to lift up to 49 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

Must be willing and able to work in a refrigerated environment (10°-40°)
-
Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours with or without reasonable accommodation

Must be willing and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach with or without reasonable accommodation.
Experience / Education
-
Certificate in trade school or equivalent work experience related to a specific trade or general facilities and/or general maintenance background
-
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
