What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Corporate Contracts Paralegal or Contracts Specialist within our North American Trucking division. This position falls under our North American Trucking line of business and is in either Atlanta, GA, or Brentwood, TN. In this role, you will serve as the primary contracts paralegal or contract specialist serving the needs of the North American Trucking division through coordination with internal SMEs, outside resources, and other internal/external stakeholders. You will report directly to the SVP, General Counsel – US Vehicle Payments, and regularly collaborate with internal SMEs, outside resources, and other internal/external stakeholders.

As a Corporate Contracts Paralegal, you will be expected to work in an office environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

  • Assigned workspace in either the Brentwood, TN, or Atlanta, GA, office
  • Company-issued equipment
  • Formal, hands-on training

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Supporting the day-to-day contractual needs of business clients to achieve company objectives
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating customer services agreements, partnership agreements, NDAs, vendor agreements, and other commercial agreements
  • Coordinating the development of legal operations and maintenance of contract templates and processes to keep up with business practices and product mixes
  • Supporting development and maintenance of internal contract negotiation guidelines and assisting with escalations in accordance with such guidelines
  • Partnering with Senior Counsel and business stakeholders to manage and prioritize contract request workflows and monitor adherence to SLAs
  • Assisting with the review of sales and marketing collateral

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Paralegal certificate preferred
  • 4+ years of law firm or in-house contract management experience

  • Ability to effectively, efficiently, and calmly manage multiple time-sensitive projects
  • Team player with a desire and aptitude to work in a collaborative environment on a team of high-performing legal professionals
  • Experience structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex commercial contracts1
  • Excellent drafting, negotiating, and counseling skills
  • Strong ability to identify and solve complex problems
  • Strong sense of urgency with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Have a strong desire to help the business succeed for its shareholders and employees
