Treasury Accounting & Advanced Analytics Director
What We Need
Corpay is currently seeking a Director for Treasury and Advanced Analytics in Brentwood, TN. This position will be responsible for compliance with bank account reconciliations, reporting, Money Transmitter Licensing (MTL), particularly focusing on FBO and settlement accounts. Additionally, the team will be responsible for the administration and delivery of Advanced Analytics and Reporting. This role involves leading a team of finance and accounting professionals and Microsoft Power Platform Analysts, managing performance, and developing reconciliation processes while supporting requests from Auditors, Banks and Regulators. The position requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of compliance and reporting applicable to an MTL, and banking regulation and sound experience administering, designing and delivering solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. The role also requires strong interpersonal skills to partner effectively across all lines of business.

Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
Reconciliation & Accounting
- Effective daily reconciliation of FBO, operating bank accounts and settlements and associated accounting entries
- Analyze out of balance transactions, driving follow up through resolution
- Reconcile FBO customer balances to bank balance
- Provide oversight on complex customer and vendor matching, reconciliation and reporting through Power BI
- Define success metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the performance of new features and overall platform health
- Use data and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement of the platform
Microsoft Power Platform
- Design and collaborate with the IT Team to manage effective and efficient reconciliation processes and reporting
- Protect the organization’s data, ensure best practices are followed, monitor and manage user security, ensure SOC and robust controls
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
- Provide senior technical input on reference data and integration strategies
- Apply in-depth or broad technical knowledge to maintain technology areas in Power BI
Cash flow
- Central point with Treasury to manage daily funds requirements/flows
- Support Corporate Treasury/Accounting with Cash Flow Reporting
- Assist with working capital modeling
- Support with bank consolidation and bank account migrations
Internal Controls/Compliance/Audit
- Evaluate internal control structures and data to identify weaknesses and any associated risks, as well as make recommendations on how to mitigate those risks
- Ensure compliance with Banking Contracts, Regulatory requirements and MTL
- Ensure internal funds flow is monitored and executed in compliance with MTL
- Support Audit with bank confirmations and queries related to bank transactions
- Manage the securitization audit
Securitization & Reporting
- Manage the securitization reporting as per the reporting requirements
- Manage reporting requirements related to FBO/MTL compliance
- Support requests to regulators
- Support Reporting for complex customers/vendors
- Support any internal and external audit queries.
Team Management and Development
- Provide Clear Direction and Expectations: Provide the Treasury Accounting & Advanced Analytics with clear direction and expectations for achieving agreed objectives.

- Business Continuity and Risk Management: Ensure robust business continuity plans, risk management, and continuous improvement plans are in place for Finance Operations.
- Develop and Communicate Objectives: In collaboration with direct reports, develop and communicate development plans, objectives, and targets that are regularly reported on and provide opportunities for continual improvement.
- Engage with Stakeholders: Engage with key stakeholders and customer groups to agree on and prioritize continuous improvement initiatives.
- Efficiency and Effectiveness: Ensure efficiency and effectiveness in finance operations function resourcing.
- Proactively Manage Value and Risk: Proactively escalate value and risk issues.
- Financial Information Quality: Ensure financial information provided to support decision-making is fit-for-purpose is compliant, and provides clear explanations of financial issues and their implications.
- Protect Financial Assets: Protect CORPAY’s financial assets by ensuring compliance with financial regulations and GAAP.
Ad Hoc Tasks
- Process and System Improvement: Undertake other ad hoc tasks as required, focusing particularly on improving processes and system
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business, or a related field
- Approximately 8+ years of relevant Treasury accounting experience obtained in a large or complex organization with high volume transactions
- 5+ years of experience in administering, managing and designing, with Microsoft Power Platform technologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically and apply concepts strategically
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365) are highly desirable
- Proven track record of successfully supporting complex technology initiatives from initiation to completion
- Demonstrated experience in managing teams
- Demonstrated experience in large volume and complex treasury, bank and settlement reconciliations
- Demonstrated knowledge of internal controls
