Manager, Implementations 

 

What We Need 

Corpay is looking to hire a Manager, Implementations within our Implementations division. This position falls under our Corporate Payments line of business and is located in Brentwood, TN. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of client implementations, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and quality standards. This role will lead a team of project managers, providing guidance and leadership to drive efficient implementation processes while fostering a high-performance culture. You will report directly to Director of Implementations and will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, operations, and customer success, to ensure alignment on project goals and client satisfaction.

As a Manager, Implementations you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities 

The responsibilities of the role will include: 

  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and support a team of Project Managers in the implementation department, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee multiple concurrent implementation projects, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources appropriately across projects, balancing workload and capacity while addressing any gaps in project coverage.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve implementation processes, identifying bottlenecks or inefficiencies and implementing solutions to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary escalation point for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that communication is timely, clear, and transparent throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Client Engagement: Partner with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and ensure successful implementation, acting as a key point of contact during escalations.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor the performance of the implementation team, using key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project success and team effectiveness. Provide reports to senior management as required.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (such as Sales, Product, and Customer Success) to ensure alignment on client goals and smooth handoffs from sales through to delivery.
  • Risk Management: Identify project risks and work with Project Managers to develop mitigation strategies to avoid disruptions or delays.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Information Systems, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in project or program management, preferably in a client-facing implementation role.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience, managing project managers or similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and tools (e.g., Wrike, Jira, MS Project).
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of adaptability.
  • Experience in the Fintech Industry is a plus.
