Employee Experience Specialist

What We Need

Corpay is seeking a dynamic and experienced Employee Experience Specialist to join our HR team. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing our employee experience through collaborative management of HR functions. You will tackle employee issues, ensure compliance and thorough documentation, and lead innovative HR programs and initiatives. Your collaborative spirit will drive you to work closely with both the HR team and cross-functional partners, aligning efforts with organizational objectives to boost employee engagement and satisfaction. How We Work:

As an Employee Experience Specialist, you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities 

The responsibilities of the role will include: 

  • Addressing and resolving complex employee inquiries, providing expert guidance and high-level support for a variety of HR issues.
  • Serving as a senior point of contact for escalated employee support concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Overseeing key HR operations tasks, including onboarding and offboarding, ensuring best practices are followed and processes are seamless.
  • Acting as a senior backup for HR Coordinators/HR Specialists, providing support and guidance as needed.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Managing the completion and verification of Forms I-9, ensuring meticulous documentation and adherence to compliance standards.
  • Overseeing complex HR documentation processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
  • Leading audits of employee data and HR programs, ensuring compliance and addressing any discrepancies or issues.
  • Providing strategic recommendations based on audit findings to enhance processes and ensure adherence to compliance standards.

HRIS and Record Management:

  • Updating employee status records in the HRIS (e.g., department transfers, title changes, salary increases, terminations).
  • Managing and maintaining electronic employee files; preparing and managing HR documents; performing data entry for Dayforce.

HR Project Administration:

  • Administering and enhancing HR programs, including employee policies, onboarding procedures, engagement initiatives, and other employee-related matters.
  • Leading efforts to improve HR programs and align them with organizational goals and strategic objectives.
  • Managing correspondence and reporting related to HR projects, ensuring clear communication and effective execution.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned to support the overall HR function and contribute to the organization’s goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year of related HR experience.
  • Experience in a sole charge role in a medium-sized organization.
  • Experience in working within a multi-site environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills.
  • Project management experience, particularly in planning and organizing multiple activities/projects to ensure that deadlines are achieved.
  • Commercially focused with attention to detail – providing accurate information in spreadsheets, presentations, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
