National Sales Consultant – CLC Lodging - Remote
Corpay is currently looking for a Sales Consultant within our Lodging division. This position falls under our Corporate Lodging Consultants (CLC) line of business and is located remotely. In this role, you will consult and close business sales by targeting prospects and responding to inquiries from companies who have workforce, field, project or long-term travel needs. The ideal candidate has experience with multi-property hotel sales, travel agencies, and/or extended stay travelers and is accustomed to obtaining new business and managing their own accountability. You will report directly to the SVP of Lodging and Field Sales and regularly collaborate with the larger sales organization.

Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Identifying, developing, and closing new business for companies using travel services by focusing on industries with travel requirements.
- Self-sourcing leads utilizing various techniques including tele prospecting.
- Achieving sales production targets and ensuring account revenue potential is maximized.
- Handling all sales activity with clients to include identifying and developing sales action plan parameters, distributing/collecting contracts and implementing established operational guidelines.
- Utilize sales tools provided including but not limited to ZoomInfo, Salesforce.com, training manuals, PowerPoint presentations, financial analysis examples, case studies, etc. to track and record the sales pipeline and revenue projections along with account and contact information.
- Maintain Salesforce.com to accurately reflect KPI’s, daily activity, customer contact, pending deals, pipelines, etc.
- Participate in periodic sales meetings, trade shows, etc.
- Consultants will be responsible for the full-life cycle of the customer experience, including, but not limited to; establishing new accounts, continuing to grow and develop existing accounts, and providing world-class customer support for these accounts.
- Meeting or exceeding all performance standard requirements.
- Complying with all management requests in a timely manner.
- All other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a sales strategy and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Demonstrated ability to sell and close business via the phone at decision maker or C- level.
- Experienced in selling and managing larger clients through multi-property hotel/corporate apartments preferred.
- Experienced selling to and managing large clients with multi-property and extended stay workforce needs highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop long-term account relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with limited supervision.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Advanced networking, research, and strategic prospecting experience using a variety of tools and methods.
- Must be a creative thinker to overcome customer objections.
- Must be adaptable and be able to consistently deal with ever-changing conditions.
- Strong telephone sales and prospecting skills.
- Ability to organize and facilitate meetings.
- A strong background with proven track record in direct sales.
- Proficient using Salesforce.com Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- 6+ years in direct sales.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Past remote office a plus.
