Job Overview:

We are seeking two experienced Business Analysts with a strong technical background in credit card systems. The ideal candidates will have extensive knowledge of information flow between credit card processors and various channels, as well as a solid understanding of middleware APIs that enable seamless integration while keeping these systems agnostic. You will work closely with technical product owners to assess current processes, define future states, and document detailed requirements for the development team. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze and document current state processes related to credit card information flow, including transaction processing, authorization, and settlement.
  • Collaborate with technical product owners to define and design future state solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and business goals.
  • Develop and maintaindetailed technical requirements, use cases, and process maps to facilitatecommunication with development teams.
  • Identifyand recommend areas for automation that can enhance system efficiencies and reduce development cycles.
  • Engage in data modeling and analysis to support data integrity and accuracy throughout the credit card processing lifecycle.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and validatethat solutions meet business requirements.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to the technical team during the implementation of new systems and features. 

Must-Have Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on credit card systems or financial technology.
  • Strong understanding of credit card processing workflows, including EMV, PCI compliance, and transaction life cycles.
  • Proven experience with middleware APIs and integration technologies (e.g., RESTful APIs, SOAP, JSON, XML).
  • Proficiencyin data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL for querying databases.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 

Good-to-Have Qualifications: 

  • Experience with automation tools (e.g., RPA, workflow automation) and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to credit card processing (e.g., PCI DSS).
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or related fields.
