Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Subrogation Adjuster to join our dynamic team. As a Subrogation Adjuster, you will play a crucial role in the insurance claims process by investigating and recovering losses from responsible parties on behalf of our clients. You will analyze complex situations, negotiate settlements, and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure efficient and successful subrogation outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and evaluate insurance claims to determine liability and subrogation potential.
  • Analyze policy language, contracts, and relevant laws to assess subrogation rights and recovery opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including policyholders, legal professionals, and other insurance carriers, to gather essential information and documentation.
  • Review reports, photos, statements, and other evidence to build a comprehensive case for subrogation.
  • Communicate effectively with all involved parties to negotiate settlements and ensure a fair and timely resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of claim activities, correspondence, and recovery efforts.
  • Utilize claims management systems and software to document and track progress.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and legal developments that could impact subrogation efforts.
  • Assist in the development of strategies and best practices to enhance subrogation outcomes and efficiency.
  • Provide excellent customer service to policyholders and other stakeholders throughout the subrogation process.
  • Collaborate with internal departments
  • Handle special projects and assignments related to subrogation as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience is a plus.
  • Prior experience in subrogation, insurance claims, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance policies, contracts, and relevant legal regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using claims management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
