Electropolisher and Blaster Painter

Position Title: Electropolisher and Blaster Painter

Location: Howell, MI

Pay Rate: $17/HR

Electropolisher Job Responsibilities:

1. Operate electropolish 3 part process for Stainless Steel product line

2. Prepare parts for electropolish, including cleaning, rigging, and positioning of electrodes

3. Maintains safe, clean, and efficient work area

4. Able to operate basic control unit for electropolish machine

5. Able to operate material sanding and buffing tools

6. Maintain paint application equipment

7. Paint various products to company and customer specifications

8. Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of paint materials and cleaning solvent

9. Inspects physical condition of warehouse and equipment and prepares work order for repairs and

10. Provide paint time estimates for various projects

11. Maintains material safety data sheet library

12. General maintenance or notification of maintenance for service truck and folk truck

Electropolish Job Requirements:

1. Five years’ experience in electropolish process but willing to train also.

2. Familiar with electropolish process

3. Familiar with metal surface finish quality

4. Ability to lift, push, pull weights in the 0-85 lb range

5. Ability to operate fork lift trucks

6. Ability to and experience in rigging weights up to 1 ton

7. Good interpersonal skills

Work Environment:

1. Work is performed in a manufacturing environment. This position has a traditional work schedule that requires five (5) eight (8) hour days during a Monday through Friday work schedule. Overtime is administered on an as needed basis as determined by the supervisor.

2. Shop floor duties will involve the use of high voltage equipment, being around light and heavy machinery, be exposed to noise, and will be required to follow standard manufacturing safety practices.
