Claims Customer Service Supervisor, Full-Time, Day Shift
Community Care is hiring a Claims Customer Service Supervisor to join our team. This is a full-time opportunity at our Waukesha site.
Claims Customer Service Supervisor Job Responsibilities:
- Supervises the day-to-day operations of the Claims Customer Service function.
- Monitors vendor complaints and appeals in order to spot trends and make recommendations for long-term solutions.
- Resolves complex and escalated complaints.
- Develops and monitors procedures to track appeals and grievances. Responsible for assembling information to support
appealed claims. - Collaborates and coordinates with other staff members from within and outside of the department to resolve claims
related customer service appeals, complaints, inquiries and issues. - Establishes and maintains procedures for coordination of benefits, including contractually required reporting.
- Prepares routine reports for management on provider complaints, appeals, call volume, and other activities as requested.
- Provides claims customer service related reports to management as requested.
- Develops and implements cost control measures, including monitoring and controlling overtime work by department
employees. - Develops and documents policies and procedures for the claims customer service functions.
- Maintains current industry knowledge through association memberships and/or continuing education.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Claims Customer Service Supervisor Job Requirements:
- Experience: Required - A minimum of three years of call center customer service experience in a health care insurance or provider setting and one year of supervisory, customer account rep or team lead experience.
- Education: Required - High school diploma
Preferred - College degree in Business field - Additional Requirements: Regular local travel requiring use of personal vehicle, valid drivers license and proof of required insurance coverage.
Claims Customer Service Supervisor Job Schedule:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week, generally Monday - Friday 8AM-4:30PM
