Commercial Lines Account Manager - Construction
SUMMARY
Responsible for providing customer service and overall service of assigned clients as part of a service team or in support of a Producer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Initiates renewal process for existing clients, and discusses and creates renewal strategy with Producer;
• Analyzes and compares current exposures and develops renewal or new business specifications for Marketing;
• May participate with Producer or as part of a Service team in soliciting new business;
• Supports an AE or producer or sales consultant in Client renewal process with the ability to work proactively and independently;
• Reviews and summarizes marketing results and prepares proposals;
• Finalizes proposals and presentations in coordination with Producer or Client Service team;
• Binds insurance coverage and prepares binders and prepare or delegate certificates issuance;
• Reviews policies for accuracy;
• Prepares summaries and/or schedules of coverage for clients;
• Reviews client accounting history, responds to accounting inquiries, corrects discrepancies, and contacts client on receivable collections;
• Participates in the claims process as directed by service team or producer;
• Responds to Client inquiries daily - seeking guidance from Account service team or producer for critical or complex issues;
• Produces invoices and delivers to Client, monitor for client payments, reconciliation and resolution of any outstanding balances within 60 days of invoicing date;
• Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information);
• Perform all duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures, and all federal, state and local laws, wherein the Company operates;
• Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Associate's Degree equivalent combination of education and experience
Six (6) or more years related work experience
Encouraged to complete Career Path requirements as communicated by supervisor.
Valid Insurance License
Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal

Strong knowledge of Standard operating procedures for compliance and services
Knowledge of technical insurance for major lines of insurance - WC, GL, Auto, Excess Liability and familiar with ancillary lines
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
