The Supply Chain Analyst is part of an accelerated program designed to develop and prepare individuals for a successful career in Supply Chain. This position will operate through various Supply Chain functions, including purchasing, vendor management, and strategic sourcing to gather the necessary skills to improve operations in each key supply chain function. In addition, this position will work to optimize product forecast, participate in business reviews with key strategic suppliers, and recruit and manage suppliers.

1. Work with the internal planning team to optimize product forecast and monitor inventory levels to ensure that optimal ordering patterns, inventory turns, and safety stock levels are met.
2. Participate in business reviews with key strategic suppliers to assist with supplier improvement and performance.
3. Recruit, maintain, and manage world‐class suppliers with focus on total cost of ownership improvement. Proactively engage, coordinate, negotiate, and manage new and current suppliers.
4. Perform moderately complex analysis of information, problems, and conduct routine supplier assessments to maintain current information.
5. Track, monitor, and measure the benefit of implemented solutions for moderately complex issues, applying company policies and procedures in the resolution of a variety of issues.
6. Communicate perceived risks to leadership and work to mitigate through the execution of strategic projects.
7. Develop root cause analysis, gap analysis, and distribute moderately complex reports.
8. Build productive internal/external working relationships to work collaboratively.
9. Optimize cost for assigned products through cost reduction and margin improvement.
10. Perform other duties as required within the nature and level of work.

 
 
Qualifications  
 

Must possess or be currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Supply Chain or related field with a completion date within the next year. Internship or co‐op experience related to your field of study is preferred. Master's degree and one (1) year of related experience is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite ﴾Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint﴿. Ability to perform intermediate level mathematics and financial calculations. Must be an effective team player that takes initiative and ownership of projects. Must be self‐motivated have have strong organizational skills. Must be able to multitask, manage shifting priorities, and work independently to completion of tasks and deadlines.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
 
Travel Requirements
 
25% (7 days per month)
